Mick Torres has a BA in Theatre from USC. His breakout performance as RP McMurphy in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” garnered much attention, with Broadway World nominating him for Best Actor, and also saying, “...ultimately, it is Mick Torres’ attention grabbing interpretation of McMurphy... who will keep you talking about this immersive experience for a long time to come.” Immediately after his award-winning performance, he played the Baker in a found-instrument production of “Into The Woods”. He made his network debut on CBS shortly after that on “Pink Collar Crimes” and recently shot a short film with members of the Groundlings Sunday Company called, “Swimsuit”.

Mick was a producer for After Hours Theatre’s productions of “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” and “The Last Five Years”. Mick has been writing for years and pitched his pilot, “Best Of The Best” to FOX. He also wrote and produced Mismo Productions’ first short film, “The Last Flight”, a parody of Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” documentary.

Mick and his wife, Ashley, created Mismo Productions together in 2019. They currently host Mismo Podcast and speak with fellow artists about their day to day lives, struggles, obstacles, and triumphs in the entertainment industry. The pair have been writing screenplays and TV shows together and plan to use Mismo Productions to create projects with each other and their extremely talented friends.
